Astigmatism correction is an important step in modern cataract and corneal refractive surgery. Modern diagnostic techniques, better preoperative study, the adequate planification of the surgery and the use of adequate laser technology makes the astigmatism surgery a success today. This edition will offer an integrated perspective about the pre-operative analysis, surgical planification based on vector planning and selection of surgical tools to get the better outcomes and will capture the recent advances in this field and aims to provide a platform for exchange of innovative ideas and cutting-edge knowledge on the new prospects in treatment of astigmatism.
We welcome the submission of Research and Reviews of broad interest on fundamentals and theoretical basis, surgical approaches and innovative therapies for astigmatism corrections. All submissions are subject to the standard peer-review process as usual, and only articles that pass peer-review will be accepted for publication.
The deadline for submissions is 1st September 2017.
